Learn English on Gozo, Malta

Gozo is one of the best kept secrets in the Mediterranean. Also known as the Island of Calypso, Gozo is a part of the Maltese island group. Due to the British colonial past, Malta has become one of the most popular destinations for learning English overseas. Our language school in Gozo offers a unique opportunity to study the English language in a relaxed and peaceful environment where the participants have the opportunity to focus on improving their English without the interruptions of day-to-day life.

Although only five kilometres separate Gozo from the main island of Malta, there are significant differences between the two islands. Gozo focuses on eco-tourism and an appreciation of the pristine natural environment that the island's residents are scrambling to preserve. The island is also a paradise for watersports, fishing on the high seas, trekking, rock climbing and mountain biking. Some of the world's best diving sites and two of the prettiest sand beaches in the Maltese Islands are found in Gozo. Victoria, Gozo's capital and commercial centre, is home to an impressive fortress (a UNESCO world heritage site) and unforgettable festivals. You'll find small fishing villages and towns all around the island which still live the traditional Mediterranean lifestyle. We recommend spending some time in these villages and tasting the regional cuisine offered at the local restaurants.

Many travellers who come to Malta on holiday visit Gozo and describe the island as one of the highlights of their stay in Malta. Gozo is ideal for anyone looking for a unique experience discovering one of the hidden treasures of the Mediterranean.
