It's hard not to notice the Liverpudlian's love for their own city. The city's amazing history, tracing all the way back to when Liverpool was Britain's second-most significant city, is a source of genuine pride to "Scousers" – as local people are named, after Scouse, a fish-and-bread roll stew famous with sailors – however, what truly energises them is the continuous regeneration programme that is changing a once decrepit downtown area into quite possibly one of the most exciting urban communities in northern England making Liverpool one of the top cities in England to learn English.
Language Schools by Student Review
At NCG Liverpool, I felt welcome from the beginning, all staff and teachers had lovely behaviour and they always have been able to solve any query that I had.
I was in New College Group in Liverpool for four weeks. I chose Liverpool because it has a lot of history, I am a historian and archaeologist and I am interested in History. I was very pleased with the teacher (native teacher), little classes (with a few students), well-organised school and students from different nationalities.
This was my first experience abroad and I think it was very very useful. I recommend NCG because the classes are very good, every day I discovered something new. Teachers are very patient and they find a lot of beautiful and useful activities every day.
NCG is an amazing place to be in.
I enjoyed the classes. I have received tips that improved my English and I will use them forever. The atmosphere at NCG is really comfy. Most importantly, the staff take care of the students. The social activities here help the student to practice the language and equivalently to enjoy our time.
I love Liverpool because the people here are very friendly. I am very happy with the social activities because we do a lot of interesting things.
