Our language school in Vancouver, Canada offers exam preparation courses for the following different exams: IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge. These courses will ensure that the participants are suitably prepared for the relevant exams.

The IELTS and TOEFL exam preparation courses consist of 20, 45-minute lessons per week. We recommend a course of between 6 and 12 weeks in order for you to be adequately prepared for the exam. Participants need at least an intermediate level of English and can join the course on any Monday throughout the year.
The exam preparation courses for the Cambridge Examinations consist of 30 lessons of 45 minutes per week. The courses are offered for a duration of 4, 8, 10, or 12 weeks. Please note that the Cambridge courses take place on specific dates only and require an English level of at least intermediate or upper-intermediate level.

Our school uses special textbooks and materials including many sample questions from the tests so that the students can achieve the best possible results. The courses focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills so that the student is familiar with the examination and can answer the questions as effectively as possible.

The IELTS qualification (International English Language Testing System) is required by most British, Canadian, Australian, Maltese, and South African universities, and by some American institutions. It is also required for immigration to Canada and Australia.

The TOEFL test (Test of English as a Foreign Language) has already been taken by more than 25 million people and is recognised almost everywhere. This test assesses your English skills at the university level and is recognised by over 8000 organisations in more than 130 countries, including most North American universities.

Cambridge ESOL is recognised by employers, universities, and colleges all over the world and is valid life long. Three different exams are offered:
FCE (First Certificate of English) is suitable for those students who need to prove they confidently use spoken and written English for work or study purposes.
CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) is aimed at participants who are able to deal with a high level of written and spoken English in professional and academic contexts.
CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) is the certificate for the most advanced users. This proves the ability to confidently use the language in almost any English-speaking context.

An additional 5 or 10 individual 1:1 lessons can be booked in combination with the group courses to study in greater depth.
