For our students over 50, our language school in Bournemouth offers a great programme three times a year. In the beautiful South English coastal landscape, you can refresh your English with other language students of your age, as well as experience British culture up close.
The two-week program offers a very balanced and varied programme. In 20 group lessons per week (45 minutes each) you will receive English lessons each morning in accordance with your language level. The focus here is on free speech, grammar, reading and listening, all combined with exciting aspects of British everyday life and its rich culture.
The programme also includes an orientation walk and 2 half-day trips a week to the beautiful surroundings, for example to Salisbury or Portsmouth. On Saturday there will be a full day trip to London or Bath instead. Of course, a walk along the "Jurassic Coast" (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and a cozy evening in a quaint British pub should not be missed.
You will live in a classic way in a British host family, with whom you can have breakfast and dinner together. Even here, you will practice a bit of conversation as well. For those who prefer a more individual stay, you still have the opportunity to choose a room with a bath in a Bed & Breakfast.
