The Standard English Course in Bournemouth England consists of 20 lessons per week and starts every Monday of the year at 09:15 (except holidays). The timetable is slightly different during the summer months (June-August) when the course begins at 08:45 but for the same number of lessons. The minimum age for this course is 16.
The standard course has been specifically designed to provide a general understanding of the English language. This morning language course is ideal for those who want to improve their English and at the same time want to have enough free time available to participate in organized activities and excursions in the afternoon or do something on their own.
The standard course is offered at five different levels of English ability ranging from beginner to advanced. This structured course covers the four fundamental language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. As there is no fixed course duration, you can continue this course for as long as you feel necessary.
As on all courses, the school will assess your English level on the first day in order to place you on the appropriate course. The school will also continually monitor your progress and help you by changing you to a course with a different level of English whenever necessary.
Participants are asked to bring their own stationery and a dictionary. All other learning materials are provided by the school and are included in the course price. On successful completion of the course, you will receive an official certificate from the school.
Additional individual lessons (optional)
Private Lessons: Private lessons are an excellent choice for those participants who would like additional, detailed, and personal teaching on a 1:1 basis. These take place from Monday to Thursday in the afternoons.
