English Language Course - St Giles International London Highgate

In the general language courses in our language school in London Highgate, you will get to know all major aspects of the English language. Particular emphasis is put on improving communicative abilities. Each course has a maximum of 12 participants, which enables teachers to cater to the needs of individual students. Courses of varying intensity are offered for different study goals.

Standard English courses provide an ideal balance between studies and leisure time and leave enough room for sightseeing and excursions in England. Course participants attend 20 lessons (each lasting 50 minutes) per week. Classes are usually held in the morning, but afternoon tuition can also be arranged for a small surcharge.

Intensive English courses are right for those who like to learn as much as possible in a short time frame. Participants attend 28 lessons (50 minutes each) per week. This course also puts an emphasis on the practical application of the English language, and the additional tuition lessons are meant to guarantee a more detailed analysis of all aspects of the foreign language as well as a particularly intensive learning experience.

Both courses cater to beginners and experienced speakers alike. Language students with existing knowledge can start English language courses every Monday. Novice courses for language students with no prior English skills start on specific dates. Please contact us if you’re interested in one of those courses;. We’d be happy to advise you! General English courses can be ordered with a duration of at least one week.

Combination Courses

On request, private tuition can be booked in addition to the group classes. By combining standard English or intensive English courses with 5 hours of private coaching, you will learn general aspects of the language in group classes and solidify your abilities in private coaching sessions. Private coaching is used by many language course participants for improving conversational skills and for studying specific topics in more detail.
